Clinical Audit

I carried out an audit about autologous blood transfusions.  The reason being instead of transfusing patients with external blood following knee replacements, we can use the blood in drainage system and return to the patient after filtration.  This reduces the cost of the external transfusion significantly and indeed lessens the chances of infection.  Also, it was found that it is a very popular with some religious groups.
